By Will Lord on August 27, 2021 - 5 Minute ReadAfter another busy month here at Peak, it's time to take a look back at some of our August highlights!
In a month in which build-up to our AltitudeX event has been heating up, we also sat down with AWS for a chat about AI in retail, while our Head of Data Science Operations talked about what this year’s A-level results meant for women in tech. Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to…
Whats new at Peak?
? A-level results day came and went, with a record number of students earning themselves a place on Computer Science degree courses across the UK. With the number of female students studying Computer Science A-levels increasing by more than 350% since 2015, Computerworld chatted to our Head of Data Science Operations, Amy Sharif, who shared her thoughts on what this means for the future of women in the tech industry. Take a look at what Amy had to say here.
? Our Retail Director, Tom Summerfield, sat down with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to chat all things AI in retail and how we’re helping our customers beat the competition with Decision Intelligence. Read everything that was discussed here.
☁️ Speaking of AWS and retail, you can now watch our webinar with them on demand! It stars Tom Summerfield, AWS’s Global Head of General Merchandise Retail, Steve Gurney, and Ben Hodson, Marketing Director from our customer CMOStores.com! Watch it at your leisure here.
