Peak seals 3-star Best Companies accreditation for the second successive year
By Claire Moriarty on May 14, 2021Company culture, team engagement and employee wellbeing have always been incredibly important to us at Peak, and this has only been emphasized given the turbulent environment we’ve all been dealing with over the last year or so.
From day one, Peak’s mission has been to do great things with data and build an amazing company, one that our team love being a part of.
We’re absolutely thrilled, therefore, to have once again achieved the maximum 3-star accreditation in the annual Best Companies engagement survey, following on from our first success last year. This means that Peak is officially a ‘World Class Company To Work For!’
On top of this, we’ve also secured our place on these reputable lists:
- The UK’s 100 Best Mid-Sized Companies To Work For (no. 25!)
- Technology’s 50 Best Companies To Work For (no. 10!)
- The North West’s 100 Best Companies To Work For (no. 25!)
Best Companies is an annual survey and recognition programme, known throughout the industry as setting the standard for both workplace engagement and employee wellbeing. Achieving 3-star accreditation for a second successive year puts us near the top of the pile of those companies participating in the survey, recognizing that our team shows ‘extraordinary’ levels of employee engagement.
The Best Companies survey is an important date in our calendar, as it demonstrates how we’re succeeding in our mission to build an amazing company that our team loves being a part of. To have once again achieved the maximum 3-star accreditation is a fantastic achievement and another key milestone for Peak, particularly after the difficulties faced since the start of the pandemic.

Chief People Officer, Peak
Given that the vast majority of the Peak team have been working from home since March 2020, to achieve this score in the midst of a pandemic is testament to the company we’re building at Peak, and to the amazing commitment the entire business has shown to protecting and growing our culture!
The award recognizes that the entire Peak team care about each other and care about the business – both in terms of their wellbeing and their career development – and that we, as a company, see an engaged workforce and workplace as a vital part of business success.
We’re also thrilled that some of the initiatives we introduced during the pandemic have contributed to our score this year. These include the introduction of cross-team coffee catch ups and social events, support for those needing to enhance their working from home set up, partnering with Headspace and Spill to support mental wellbeing, and looking after our physical wellbeing in the form of Peak Fit Club!
This is great recognition of everything we’re doing as business to ensure we keep developing our unique culture and living our values, especially as we continue to grow both here in the UK and internationally.
